Hakaider Stage 3

Its been awhile since i updated this side of my blog.
I have been slacking though, kept my constant updates on looking at deviant's work...
researching and reading up on more digital techniques...

And i went for my 3rd lesson for my hakaider project. Learnt how to make the entire model looks like its 500 years old....meaning to make it look older den its supposed to be...staining the model and making it look rusty and all...although i chipped like 4 pieces of my model. But they can be fixed. I guess i'll be having a constant lesson every sat from now on. Left my model at the shop, guess i'll jus post the pics next time. The brain and the scar on the chest is finally in as well.

A friend i got to know there is trying to build a batman begin figurine from scratch with a 12inch skeleton figure. looks interesting, was thinking maybe i can approach them for advice on my dissidia project. Or maybe i shud get Takayuki's Albino to paint for my next item after hakaider.

I've managed to religiously draw at least a piece of drawing everyday after work~ forgot to scan them las week. So here's wat i have~~~

Project Hakaider~

This is an ongoing airbrush and dry brush project that i took up recently. Its mainly on dry brushing. Well, so far, i've only painted the leg and arm armors. I've spent alot of time trying to make it look like the armor on the legs has gone rusty and moldy. Took me alot of effort to get them right and equally worn. The golden lining is a pain in the ass as well. Took me a lot of patience and retouch up, the gold lining is incomplete at the moment.

The 2nd stage of my project, the base color. This part was done using airbrush, pretty straight forward.

This was how it looked like when i first got it. Already had a lot of detail in them.

Project Heroes Entries 1-5

Random doodles~ Can't seem to draw anithin in particular, maybe its the blank space that is intimidating. Mostly Kikaider n Kamen riders...

This poison is worse den i tot, jus can't draw anithin...so i tot i could jus make off with doodling my frustration.

Project Maze - 3 exchange so far...

My first entry for melody. Its a response to a video Med linked me. The music was very soothing and brilliant.

Med's incomplete adorable response. Guess she was shagged out after work. Can't wait to see her completed response. LOL.

My response for last night. My nike air woven was kinda dead, so i had to send it to a cobbler for repair, can't bear to throw it away after i checked out how much its worth online. zzz. I got IRON-MAN to deliver it for me. LOL.

The rest of the project is still underway, will upload once i hv anithing. :)

I have setted a few goals for my holidays. here we go~~

1. Project Dissidia Cloud - Intention is to modify the FF7 Cloud from Dissidia into his alternate costume version, which is the Advent children version. I've alr gotten an extra version of the trading arts.
- build his Tsurugi or First sword.
- build his sword sheathe.
- his cool specs.

2. Project Dissidia Warrior of Light - Intention is to modify the FF1 Warrior of light into his Ex mode version. I've alr gotten an extra version of the trading arts as well.

3. Project Maze - A collaboration with Med, we'll be doing sketch exchange everyday, ani drawing, thoughts or items will be exchanged in this sketch book. First exchange has begun yesterday. And i alr made my first entry base on a response from a video from youtube. Will be posting it up soon.

4. Project Heroes - A personal soul searching project, actually a sketchbook~ made the first entry today, didn't really go too well, everytime i carry my pencil, i jus begin to draw all those monotonous stuffs. I'm beginning to wonder if i really did know how to draw anithing or create anithin at all.

5. Project Cloud's Tsurugi - This is a project for Cloud's Playart in Advent children, idea is to create his equipments. Have been wanting to this for awhile, but kept shelving it.

6. Project Hakaider garage kit - This is a air and dry brush project, basically bought a garage kit of hakaider and have began painting it. Target is to finish this object by this month and so i can proceed to my next target, Vampire hunter D.

7. Project Titan Clan - This was a graphic novel written for my DRM artifact. Meant to submit to Felix, but apparently i ran out of time and it became a novel. I hope i can at least complete half of it by this holidays.

8. Project Painterman - This project is pretty hard to achieve, would need some help from friends, basically wan to improve my skills in painting but i'm hvin a hard time thinking of wat to draw, was hoping maybe fren can gimme a chance to commission some work for them. My alternative was to paint something in response to some of my favourite artist's work. Have alr began working on the first few.
Titled : 1. Reason for Cuson's berserker mode.
2. Little cousin's Fantasy Hello Kitty.

At the moment, this will be the 8 project that i have setted for myself, i'm sure i won't be able to complete everyone of them, but well i'll just have to try. I'll be updating new works daily here and then hope that i can continue to keep this fire til the end of this holiday. Hopefully i can be a better person after this. I'll be posting most of my stuffs tomorrow. :)
